Coach Evans is the Hornet coaching staff's most recent addition.  An outstanding baseball player for Will Rogers High School from 1990-1994, Derek will be responsible for preparing the Hornet hitters and outfield.  Derek played college baseball at Hutchinson Community College as a pitcher and outfielder.  Coach Evans brings a wealth of baseball knowledge to the Hornet program and is certainly a welcomed addition.

Derek is married to wife Laura.  He has three children Sarah, Emily and Nick.
